1. Where We Ship
We currently ship within India only. International shipping is not available at this time. If you are an overseas Indian interested in Kama Tejas, please contact us and we will note your interest for future planning.
We serve virtually all serviceable PIN codes across India. A small number of remote or restricted PIN codes may not be serviceable by our carrier network. If your PIN code is not serviceable, you will be notified during checkout and asked to use a different delivery address or contact our support team.
2. Shipping Charges
- Free shipping on all prepaid orders above ₹2,000.
- ₹50 standard shipping on prepaid orders below ₹2,000.
- Cash on Delivery (COD) orders attract an additional handling fee of ₹50 regardless of order value. This covers the additional logistics of a cash transaction.
Shipping charges (if any) are displayed clearly at checkout before you confirm payment.
3. Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days of order confirmation. "Business days" means Monday to Saturday, excluding national and regional public holidays.
During peak periods (sale events, festival seasons, or following a product launch) processing times may extend to 3 business days. We will notify you by email if there is an unusual delay.
4. Estimated Delivery Timelines
- Metro cities (Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, Ahmedabad): 3–5 business days after dispatch.
- Non-metro cities and tier-2/tier-3 towns: 5–7 business days after dispatch.
- Remote and rural PIN codes, Union Territories, and north-eastern states: 7–10 business days after dispatch.
These are estimates, not guarantees. Actual delivery times may vary due to carrier delays, weather disruptions, or circumstances beyond our control.
5. Shipping Carriers
We use a combination of carriers depending on which provides the best service to your PIN code at the time of dispatch:
- Delhivery
- Bluedart
- DTDC
- Ekart Logistics
- India Post
We select the carrier at our discretion. You may not request a specific carrier, but if you have a strong preference or a known issue with a particular carrier at your address, email us before placing your order and we will note it.
6. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with your tracking number and a direct link to the carrier's tracking portal. You can also view your tracking information at any time on your order history page.
Please allow up to 24 hours for the carrier's tracking system to reflect movement after you receive the dispatch email.
7. Discreet Packaging
We understand that privacy matters. All Kama Tejas orders are shipped in plain outer packaging with no brand markings or product information visible on the outside. The outer carton will show only the sender's address (Being Vedic Pvt. Ltd.) and your delivery address. The invoice, which is placed inside, shows the product name; this is a legal requirement for GST compliance.
8. Failed Delivery Attempts
Our carriers typically make up to 3 delivery attempts before a shipment is returned to us. Between attempts, the carrier may call or message the phone number on your order. Please ensure your contact number is correct at the time of placing the order.
If all 3 attempts fail and the shipment is returned to us:
- For prepaid orders: we will contact you to arrange a re-dispatch. A re-shipping fee may apply.
- For COD orders: the order will be automatically cancelled and no charge will apply.
9. Wrong, Missing, or Damaged Items
If your order arrives with the wrong product, a missing item, or visible damage to the outer packaging, please:
- Photograph the outer packaging (before opening if possible) and the contents.
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at care@kamatejas.com or via WhatsApp with your order number and photos.
We will arrange a replacement or refund after verifying the issue. Claims raised more than 48 hours after delivery may not be accepted for transit-damage cases.
